Apple TV+ has announced its lineup of holiday specials for kids and families, just in time for the upcoming holiday season. One of the highlights is a new adaptation of the beloved children’s book, The Velveteen Rabbit. This special will premiere on Wednesday, November 22, just ahead of Thanksgiving.
In addition to The Velveteen Rabbit, several Apple original series will also have holiday episodes. Frog and Toad, Shape Island, Sago Mini Friends, and The Snoopy Show will all be featuring special holiday-themed episodes. Fans of the classic Peanuts animated specials will also be delighted to know that they can stream It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas for free.

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – Stream for Free Saturday, October 21 to Sunday, October 22: Join Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang as they embark on a timeless adventure, preparing for a party, chasing the Red Baron, and anxiously waiting for a pumpkin patch miracle.
50th Anniversary of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving – Stream for Free Saturday, November 18 to Sunday, November 19: Celebrate the 50th anniversary of this Peanuts classic as Peppermint Patty invites everyone to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving, while Snoopy prepares his own unique Thanksgiving meal with the help of his friends.
The Velveteen Rabbit – Premieres Wednesday, November 22: Based on the cherished children’s book by Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit brings to life the magic of unconditional love. When seven-year-old William receives a special toy for Christmas, he discovers a lifelong friend and enters a world of enchantment.
Frog and Toad Christmas Special – Premieres Friday, December 1: Join Frog and Toad on Christmas Eve as they plan to spend the winter holiday together. However, a last-minute errand threatens to keep Frog away, raising questions about whether Toad’s best friend will make it home in time.

Shape Island Winter Special – Premieres Friday, December 1: Shape Island returns with The Winter Blues, a new holiday special based on the internationally bestselling trilogy of Shapes picture books. Circle and Triangle try to cheer up Square, who is feeling sad during the chilly winter season, by creating a new holiday called Yeti Night.
A Charlie Brown Christmas – Stream for Free Saturday, December 16 to Sunday, December 17: Join Charlie Brown as he becomes the director of the gang’s holiday play, searching for the true meaning of Christmas amidst the commercialism and finding the perfect tree.
