Starting at a mere $4.08 per month, customers can now access these budget-friendly options. For those seeking unlimited usage, a pay-as-you-go plan is available for just $14.88 per month.
Peter Adderton, MobileX’s CEO and founder, emphasized that the company aims to ensure consumers remain connected and enjoy an enhanced mobile experience without straining their finances. The partnership with retail giant Walmart, renowned for its prepaid wireless services in the United States, marks a significant milestone for MobileX. Adderton believes this alliance validates MobileX’s position as a top-notch choice for value-oriented customers while maintaining service quality.
Initially, these new plans will be accessible through the online platform walmart.mymobilex.com and select stores nationwide. Mehrdad Akbar, Vice President of Wireless Merchandising at Walmart, highlighted the importance of mobile phones in today’s world, underlining that their cost can be a considerable burden for individuals and families. Acknowledging the limitations of traditional one-size-fits-all approaches, Akbar expressed excitement at offering customers an innovative, customizable, and reliable option through MobileX.
The starting price for these plans is a mere $4.08 per month, as you only pay for what you use, and any unused data will carry over to the following month. Customers can also opt for unlimited talk and text with Mexico and Canada for an additional $4.50 per month.
Furthermore, Walmart and MobileX present a $14.88 monthly plan that provides unlimited talk and text, accompanied by 5GB of high-speed data. Once the data limit is reached, customers can either accept reduced speeds or pay an additional $2.10 per GB to maintain high-speed data access.
For those with higher data needs, there is an option to acquire the $24.88-per-month plan, which includes a generous 30GB of high-speed data.
MobileX proudly asserts its exclusive partnership with Walmart through a multi-year agreement. Originally launched in February 2023, MobileX has now extended its reach through this fruitful collaboration.
