Pets bring so much joy and laughter into our lives, and the Comedy Pet Photography Awards celebrates this by showcasing the funniest and most adorable pet photos each year. This year, the competition features 30 finalists from around the world, including a playful dog doing martial arts moves in the snow and a cat in a trap that looks straight out of a video game.
Founded by the creators of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, the Comedy Pet Photography Awards aims to bring smiles to people’s faces and raise awareness and support for small animal welfare charities. The shortlist for this year’s competition includes images that are not only hilarious but also beautifully captured.
From an exhausted donkey to mischievous kittens, the entries highlight the playful and loving nature of our furry friends. Each photo has been selected for its comedic value as well as its photographic quality, and the judges – including TV presenters, professional photographers, and animal welfare advocates – will have the difficult task of choosing a winner.
