Discover the game-changing new modular kayaks from Stellar with sleek, lightweight composite bodies

Modular kayaks are a convenient and practical option for those who need easy storage and transportation. However, traditional plastic kayaks may not appeal to everyone. Stellar has introduced two new models, the S14 MOD and the S19 MOD, which feature sleek, stiff, glossy, lightweight composite bodies. Unlike typical plastic kayaks, these modular versions offer a choice of Advantage or Multi-Sport construction, with options for gel-coated fiberglass/foamcore-sandwich hulls or lighter carbon fiber/Kevlar epoxy laminates. Additionally, the kayaks are available in twelve different color choices.

The S14 MOD is a 14-foot, 4-inch touring kayak that can be assembled in three sections with the help of six hand-tightened wing bolts. These kayaks are designed for easy assembly, with the process taking less than five minutes. The watertight storage compartments, padded seat, retractable skeg, and preinstalled hardware make the S14 MOD a versatile and convenient option for paddlers. The Advantage version weighs 42.5 lb and is priced at US$4,495, while the Multi-Sport version weighs 41.6 lb and costs $5,195.

The S19 MOD can be used as a solo kayak or converted into a tandem by adding an extra cockpit section. The four-section design allows for flexible assembly, accommodating different paddling configurations. The Advantage version of the S19 MOD weighs 67.2 lb and costs $5,995, while the Multi-Sport version weighs 65.25 lb and goes for $6,695.

With its innovative design and lightweight construction, the Stellar S14 MOD and S19 MOD offer a new level of convenience and versatility for kayakers. Whether you’re looking for a solo touring kayak or a tandem paddling experience, these modular kayaks provide a customizable and high-performance option for enthusiasts.
