The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ (G95NC model) and the Odyssey Ark 55″ (G97NC model) are set to revolutionize the gaming monitor market with their advanced features and immersive experiences.
The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ is designed to provide gamers with groundbreaking visual experiences and improve their performance. It features the world’s first Dual Ultra-High-Definition (DUHD) screen, offering a wide field of view and pin-sharp images. With a 1000R curvature, the screen is as wide as two 32″ UHD monitors, creating a truly immersive gaming experience.
The monitor utilizes Quantum Matrix Technology and Samsung’s Quantum Mini LED lighting to enhance contrast and reduce blooming. It also offers VESA DisplayHDR™1000 certification, delivering vibrant colors and enhanced depth. The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, minimizing blur and ghosting to ensure smooth gameplay. It is also equipped with AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro for a stable, lag-free picture.
Connectivity options include VESA-certified DisplayPort (DP) 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and a USB hub, allowing gamers to connect multiple devices seamlessly. The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ can replace multiple monitors, creating a clutter-free workspace. Samsung is celebrating the launch of the Odyssey Neo G9 57″ with a special event named Odyssey Evolves on its Twitch channel. The event includes gameplay by popular streamers and giveaways for channel followers, including a $10,000 gaming setup featuring the new monitor.
In addition to the Odyssey Neo G9 57″, Samsung has also upgraded the Odyssey Ark, the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming screen. The new Ark features a 165Hz refresh rate, a 1ms GTG response time, and the innovative Cockpit Mode for a unique vertical orientation.
The Odyssey Ark includes new features such as Samsung Multi View, which allows users to see up to four inputs on the screen simultaneously. It also offers a Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) switch feature, allowing seamless control of all connected devices with a single mouse and keyboard setup.
Furthermore, Samsung Gaming Hub will offer Bethesda Game Studios’ highly anticipated game, “Starfield,” through an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Gamers will be able to stream “Starfield” directly on supported 2023 TVs and monitors, including the Samsung Neo QLED 8K.
The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ is available for pre-order globally, and the 2023 Odyssey Ark will be available for pre-order in September. Visitors to Gamescom can experience these monitors firsthand at Samsung’s booth in Hall 9.
