Samsung Electronics has introduced its latest flagship UHS-I memory card model, the Samsung PRO Ultimate, in both microSD and full-size SD formats. These new memory cards are specifically designed to cater to the needs of professional photographers and content creators, allowing them to optimize their productivity in creative workflows. The PRO Ultimate lineup boasts an impressive storage capacity of up to 512 gigabytes (GB) and an exceptional sequential read speed of up to 200 megabytes-per-second (MB/s).
The increasing popularity of high-resolution content captured by devices like drones, action cameras, and DSLR cameras has necessitated the need for professional creators to seamlessly work with large-sized content, whether it be writing, reading, or transferring their data. The PRO Ultimate sets an industry-leading standard with its best-in-class read speeds of up to 200MB/s, which is the maximum speed achievable through the UHS-I interface. Additionally, it offers impressive write speeds of 130MB/s. These reliable high-performance read/write speeds, irrespective of capacity, allow for the seamless transfer of heavy-duty files such as 4K ultra-high definition (UHD) and Full HD (FHD) video, with Video Speed Class 30 (V30) support.
